Diagnosing engine bar with throttle actuator control system, forced limited power run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit or change rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
01506 Possible Causes:
01506 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01506 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
