The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault direct ozone reduction catalyst, efficiency below threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control system, stuck closed and wait then intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
01505 Possible Causes:
01505 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01505 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
