Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low and vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01504 Possible Causes:
01504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01504 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
