Staring in engine camshaft position signal output, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor park/neutral switch input circuit or change intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
01504 Possible Causes:
01504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 01504 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
