Staring in engine bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off . On the other hand throttle angle signal stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
01504 Possible Causes:
01504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01504 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
