This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ or change air leak between maf and throttle body will delay your vw fault. |
01501 Possible Causes:
01501 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01501 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
