When you open cylinder 4 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ or please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
01499 Possible Causes:
01499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01499 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
