Diagnosing engine bar with engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor load signal stuck off also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
01498 Possible Causes:
01498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01498 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
