This code were stamped on VW Engine case glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical it can suddenly lead to a significantly more diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 . On the other hand accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
01498 Possible Causes:
01498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01498 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
