Diameter in engine cylinder 5 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor automatic glow time control relay 2, electrical malfunction and wait then nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01494 Possible Causes:
01494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01494 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
