The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for torque support mount, short to ground also wheel speed signal 4, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01491 Possible Causes:
01491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 01491 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
