When you open exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high you can see the actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01486 Possible Causes:
01486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01486 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
