Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction also exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01486 Possible Causes:
01486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01486 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
