This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01484 Possible Causes:
01484 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01484 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
