When you open activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance also cylinder 6 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
01481 Possible Causes:
01481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01481 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
