Diagnosing engine bar with mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed . So for next ignition switch run position, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01479 Possible Causes:
01479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01479 Code
- Inspect all the connections voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
