When you open intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground and wait then intake air heater "a", circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01479 Possible Causes:
01479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01479 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
