Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
01478 Possible Causes:
01478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01478 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
