The problem is about butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01478 Possible Causes:
01478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 01478 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
