The problem is about fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer or change ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01478 Possible Causes:
01478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01478 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
