01463 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit also intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
01463 Possible Causes:
01463 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01463 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
