This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner control, default not reached you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
01462 Possible Causes:
01462 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01462 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
