The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open . So for next leak in air intake system is the final reason of the code. |
01460 Possible Causes:
01460 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01460 Code
- Inspect all the connections databus engine-engine, implausible message
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
