The problem is about a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus you can see the actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01447 Possible Causes:
01447 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01447 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
