01447 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely or change valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault.

01447 Possible Causes:

01447 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 01447 Code

  • Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
