Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors or change secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
01446 Possible Causes:
01446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01446 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
