The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant temperature sensor, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high you can see the engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01446 Possible Causes:
01446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01446 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
