Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low you can see the vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high is the final reason of the code. |
01440 Possible Causes:
01440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01440 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for coolant system circuit, high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
