Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground or valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01438 Possible Causes:
01438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01438 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply, voltage low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
