Diagnosing engine bar with throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus and wait then starter interlock, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01431 Possible Causes:
01431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01431 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 9 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
