01428 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance or change is the final reason of the code. |
01428 Possible Causes:
01428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01428 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
