01428 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch run/start position, circuit low or change a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
01428 Possible Causes:
01428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01428 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
