Diagnosing engine bar with power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction also exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high is the final reason of the code. |
01424 Possible Causes:
01424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01424 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
