The problem is about cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance and wait then ignition switch run/start position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01423 Possible Causes:
01423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01423 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
