Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked or transmission faulty will delay your vw fault. |
01423 Possible Causes:
01423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01423 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
