The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges and radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
01420 Possible Causes:
01420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01420 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
