When you open data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent . So for next injection pump timing offset is the final reason of the code. |
01420 Possible Causes:
01420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01420 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
