Diagnosing engine bar with potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation starter relay 2, short to ground . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
01408 Possible Causes:
01408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01408 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
