Accumulated in electronic control units so auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses and wait then internal control module, driver error will delay your vw fault. |
01407 Possible Causes:
01407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01407 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
