01405 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch run/start position, circuit or change a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01405 Possible Causes:
01405 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01405 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
