This code were stamped on VW Engine case data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open also evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01401 Possible Causes:
01401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01401 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
