01401 Description And Summary : |

This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 you can see the low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01401 Possible Causes:
01401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01401 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
