The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on and exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit will delay your vw fault. |
01400 Possible Causes:
01400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01400 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
