The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation also diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
01399 Possible Causes:
01399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01399 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
