This code were stamped on VW Engine case hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small or change nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01398 Possible Causes:
01398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01398 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
