01398 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses and wait then pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01398 Possible Causes:
01398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01398 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
