This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal or exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
01397 Possible Causes:
01397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01397 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no communication
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
