Diagnosing engine bar with accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit high you can see the coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
01396 Possible Causes:
01396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01396 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
