01389 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit will delay your vw fault.

01389 Possible Causes:

01389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01389 Code

  • Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, low
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
