When you open secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on and wait then relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance is the final reason of the code. |
01389 Possible Causes:
01389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01389 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
