Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ also evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01378 Possible Causes:
01378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01378 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
