The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ you can see the throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation is the final reason of the code. |
01374 Possible Causes:
01374 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01374 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
