01366 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector control pressure regulator, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction also vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation is the final reason of the code.

01366 Possible Causes:

01366 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 01366 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
