Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
01342 Possible Causes:
01342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01342 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
