01340 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ or change valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
01340 Possible Causes:
01340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01340 Code
- Inspect all the connections interference in mechatronic module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
