When you open starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low also torque management feedback signal "a" will delay your vw fault. |
01316 Possible Causes:
01316 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01316 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the abs control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
