This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure sensor, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system generator shut-off, open or short to ground or change fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
01304 Possible Causes:
01304 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01304 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
