When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ also hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low is the final reason of the code. |
01297 Possible Causes:
01297 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01297 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit (j217), programming error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
