Staring in engine transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus engine/engine, software condition monitoring you can see the system too lean at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
01296 Possible Causes:
01296 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01296 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
