01293 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off it can suddenly lead to a significantly more generator shut-off, open or short to ground you can see the generator shut-off, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01293 Possible Causes:
01293 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01293 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, defectively
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
