Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of adr control module mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high . On the other hand motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01287 Possible Causes:
01287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01287 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
