Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ you can see the oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01285 Possible Causes:
01285 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01285 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
