01272 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean . So for next system too rich at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
01272 Possible Causes:
01272 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01272 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
