01272 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with reductant temperature sensor, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high and secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01272 Possible Causes:
01272 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 01272 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
