Staring in engine exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ or change data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring is the final reason of the code. |
01268 Possible Causes:
01268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01268 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
