01262 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 and wait then bank 1; system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
01262 Possible Causes:
01262 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01262 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
